EMT School

Chase graduated from the Fire Academy this past week and he has started his EMT classes!!! He will be done with everything and hopefully have a job by August 14th. He had a project he had to do where he was supposed to teach someone how to do assessments on a patient....so, he used me and Hemi! haha It was hilarious...Hemi did not like doing homework and he would not cooperate. You couldn't tell in the pictures but he was being a PAIN IN THE BUTT and was not behaving as usual!Showing that I have one patient (Hemi)!

Securing his neck and head...I was holding him down cuz he wanted to run! haha

Checking my patient!

Checking his heart rate...all I heard was nasty grunting and gas!

This was the worst...I had to listen to his chest and he smelled soooooo bad!!!!

Checking his pulse

Saying, "what's wrong Hemi, what hurts??" haha

Freeman Family Reunion

This weekend we traveled to Ingram, TX for the Freeman family reunion! Chase and I felt a little out of place at first because when we were getting close it looked like we were driving into a desert and our cell phone reception was completely gone...it felt like we were leaving civilization! It was nice to get away from the distractions of our every day lives and just focus on spending time with each other and family. :)

Me and Chase enjoying the river!

Papa with Chloe

Paisley was worn out from being passed around so much!

Chase and Chloe were bonding :) How cute!

Little Bundles of Joy!

I LOVE spending time with my 2 beautiful nieces Chloe and Paisley! I never knew that it was possible to love something soooo much....I can't even imagine what it will feel like when I have kids of my own some day....some day farrrrr away from now! haha Chloe just started crawling and she has the cutest and funniest personality I have ever seen a 10 month old have. Paisley is so precious. She always puckers her lips like her mommy and it is so adorable!

This was the day that Jen and I went wedding dress shopping. We laughed so hard at this picture because Pailey looks like a lil' turtle!

This picture was funny too because her bib says "smile" and she definitely wasn't smiling...she looks pretty ticked off to me!

I stopped on a bench in the mall to feed her because she was fussy and hungry!

I caught her smiling while she was alseep!

She looks like Austin here...uh oh! haha

Look at those puckered lips!

Little Miss Priss eating her food!

She looks just like her mom!

Chloe has started eating chicken and other solid foods. She also speaks some strange language that no one can understand but it sure is cute!

Wedding Fever!!!

While we were in Temple this past weekend, we went to my friends wedding in Salado. She was my STrutter Captain when I was a freshmen and I work with her now as SMA Dance Staff. We actually looked at The Inn at Salado where she got married but we decided on Tenroc. Her wedding was beautiful! Chase was laughing because he said that it gave me "wedding fever". Ever since then, I have really gotten on the ball with our own wedding and I am so excited and anxious to plan everything RIGHT NOW! I have narrowed my wedding dress options down to 2 dresses and I have recently (today) picked out the center pieces for the tables at the reception. It will all come together by next June :)
Before we left!

The wedding was like a mini Strutter Reunion!

Strutters of all ages!

Me and JT! She was my Strutter Captain my Soph. and Junior year. She is now a Spurs Silver Dancer!

This was an inside joke that we used to do....we couldn't resist!

Sandi, my Strutter big sis!

Me and my cute fiance :) Everyone was asking us if we planned to match...I didn't try to lie because we always do!

Making Time To Relax

Chase and I have been so busy lately it seems like we NEVER have a day to just lay around and relax. I am so busy trying to start my new job and prepare for next year and I am about to start working dance camps this Summer. Chase has been busy with fire school and next week he starts his EMT school on top of that! AND I have been trying to plan our wedding, slowly but surely....so much to do! We managed to make a trip to Temple this past weekend to see his family because we have really missed them. His parents pool was finally ready to swim in so we took advantage of that! It felt so nice to lay out all day and just relax! Hemi tried to test the waters and Chase thought it would be funny to make him swim....he sunk like a brick! It was so funny but I felt bad for Hemi because I could tell he was scared to death! Poor baby hahaChase took this picture from their balcony! The pool is SO pretty! Chance looks like a frog! haha

Hemi was trying to crawl in my float and was being annoying as usual!

He finally looked at the camera for a picture!

Me and Amanda :)

Chase and his Mom!

Chase was being a brat all day and he kept doing cannon balls, trying to flip us out of our floats, splashing water, putting dogs in the pool, etc. This was one of the rare moments where he was being nice!!!
