13 weeks!!!

It is hard to believe that I am about to start my 2nd tri-mester already! I keep praying that my sickness will go away...but it is still here and still NO FUN!!! My mom told me that it will go away just as soon as it came so I am hoping that it goes away within the next week. I am having a really hard time right now with my eating and keeping my food down and if I do keep it down it still makes me feel sooooooo sick :( I have a feeling that this baby is going to be just like its daddy....a very picky eater!!! haha I have my 2nd doctor's appt. tomorrow and I am very excited and anxious to hear what my doctor has to say and to see the progress of baby Karl :)

Baby Karl's 1st Photograph!

This was taken at my first doctor's appt. on September 27th. I was 9 weeks and 1 day at this time. We got to hear the heart beat also :) It was a very special and memorable moment for Chase and I!

Baby Karl will be here April 30...and the countdown begins!!!

This is the first picture I have taken since I have been pregnant! I am 10 weeks and 2 days in this picture. It is so crazy to think that I am already 1/4 through the pregnancy! Time has already flown by and I know that it will continue to do so!

I had to call my doctor on Monday of this week because I have been SO SICK!!! I have actually lost 4 pounds this week because I have not been able to eat a lot or keep my food down. Thank God, the medicine I have is working great and I have felt so much better! It is no fun to teach dance all day when you feel so nauseous and sick...so I am very fortunate that the medicine is working so well.

I go back to the doctor on October 25th and I will be in my 13th week at that time and already ending my 1st trimester!

I will continue to post pictures as my baby bump grows :)

Herley Lynn

For those of you that don't know, I had to have my precious baby Duchess put to sleep about one month ago now. It was probably the hardest thing that I have ever had to go through. She was such a joy and I loved her with all my heart. She had liver failure and there was nothing else that I could do for her. I miss her every single day and I always will. I know that there will never be another puppy like her or that can ever replace her. She will always hold a special place in my heart. She definitely was a Momma's Girl :)

I knew that I eventually would want to get another puppy but I never thought it would be so soon. Once Duchess was gone, I just felt like a huge part of me was missing and I needed another puppy to love and spoil. I decided to get a Toy Schnauzer and I named her Herley Lynn! My future sister-in-law has a Toy Schnauzer, Presley, and I have always thought that she was such a CUTE and SWEET dog! Little Herley is already such a mess just like her "cousin"! She growls and barks all the time but it is the sweetest little sound. She already has about 50 toys that are spread all over the apartment. She is teething and loves to BITE!!! She thinks she is ruler of everything!!! Definitely spoiled after only one week of having her...gotta love her though because she is PRECIOUS! Just look at that lil' face :)
